• Guaranteed weather protection, even in pouring rain and heavy snow: The BIANCA GTX is equipped with a GORE-TEX membrane. The innovative technology delivers optimal waterproof protection and breathability.
• To provide effective cushioning and improved comfort, the sole of the BIANCA GTX is bonded to the upper in a technically demanding injection process. The upper boot is placed into a specially designed mould. Various layers of PU foam padding are then poured into it. In the process, the sole and upper are bonded together.
• With the LOWA-MONOWRAP® frame, the midsole of the BIANCA GTX provides the very best comfort. This three-dimensional midsole design was developed by LOWA in 1995. The frame comfortably cradles the foot and support it when the shoe wearer ventures across uneven surfaces. The sole design is slightly raised for shoes with a SUPPORT FRAME.
• The use of a zipper in the BIANCA GTX enables wearers to easily and quickly slip their footwear on and off.
• The model BIANCA GTX is produced with a special children’s last. These lasts are not simply mini-versions of the lasts used for adults’ feet. They have been specially modified to reflect the anatomy of children’s feet and reduced in size. In addition, the height and width of the heel, toe and instep areas have been modified.
• Made of polyurethane (PU), the outsole of the BIANCA GTX impresses users with a profile design that has been optimised with real-world challenges in mind. The strong combination of good cushioning behaviour and lightness turns the sole into an ideal footwear feature. The stud design of the winter sole LOWA® AL-G will impress any child – it leaves behind great tracks in the snow and supports little adventurers in the snow. Two layers of PU provide optimal cushioning in the process.
• Approx. 70% Suede leather comes from the flesh side of the hide. It has a looser fibre structure, a quality that creates a velvety surface and a light pile. Suede leather is particularly durable and open-pored. Depending on the desired look, suede leather can remain untreated or be oiled or waxed.; Approx. 30% Fabric Our natural and synthetic fabrics facilitate optimal warming and moisture management with the help of their usage-specific characteristics.
