Maximum walking comfort is created by the combination of a sole-heel edge, discreet toe spring, a cush­ioning midsole made of LOWA DynaPU®+ and a lightly padded fabric collar. The locking hooks that create a dual-zone lacing system and X-LACING® provide optimal support. The grippy Vibram® outsole outfitted with triangular studs and the multi­direc­tionally arranged profile ensure that you can use this cemented and resolable model to take on chal­lenging tours with ease.

• GORE-TEX® – Guar­anteed weather protection, even in pouring rain and heavy snow: The TREK EVO GTX MID Ws is equipped with a GORE-TEX membrane. The innovative tech­nology delivers optimal waterproof protection and breath­ability.
• 2-Zone-Lacing – Thanks to the two-zone lacing system used in the TREK EVO GTX MID Ws, the forefoot and upper have their own separately adjustable lacing zones. As a result, the shoe can be indi­vidually adapted to the anatomy of the foot and laced in different ways for ascents and descents.
• LOWA X-As a result, the tongue is located where it should be – without any slippage or pressure points: This is what X-LACING® tech­nology of the TREK EVO GTX MID Ws is all about. This special lacing system secures the tongue both vertically and hori­zontally. Because the lacing system gains inde­pendence from the height of the instep, the design is perfect for any type of foot. This tech­nology ensures that the pressure of the laces is trans­ferred not just to the hooks but to the tongue as well.
• Dyna PU - LOWA DynaPU®+ is used in the TREK EVO GTX MID Ws. This is a specially developed foam padding used in the midsole of footwear. It plays a key role in the rolling prop­erties and the cush­ioning of the footwear. The new LOWA DynaPU®+ offers even better recovery behaviour thanks to its special cell structure. This, in turn, creates an improved rebound effect for athletes. Even with constant use, the recovery behaviour does not lose any of its high performance qualities.
• To ensure perfect fit, the lasts used for TREK EVO GTX MID Ws have been specially designed with the anatomy of women’s feet in mind. The last plays a key role in the ultimate fit of a boot. Women’s feet have less volume than men’s feet. As a result, the instep height and the ball area of these lasts have been altered.
• The TREK EVO GTX MID Ws comes equipped with a Vibram® sole. The Italian sole manu­facturer has been one of the leading brands of high-quality soles for many years. The VIBRAM® ROCK TRAC® SENSE shows off its strengths on versatile terrain: Good grip, the Vibram® Megagrip rubber compound and the special triangular profile design provide optimal comfort.
