This warm midlayer is made from a synthetic knitted material that is effective at trapping heat inside it, making it a great insulating layer in cold weather. The Icepeak Massa jacket is, however, very comfortable in stand-alone use, too. The backside of the fabric is brushed so that is has a fuzzy, soft feel to it. Single-coloured Thermostretch inserts in the sides and back hem provide contrast while also extending the range of movement. Two zipped pockets are located at the lower front and one on the chest.
